Disney Alice in Wonderland
Product Design, Package Design, Photo Styling, & Brand Manager for a maddeningly beautiful collection
Fall down the rabbit hole with this whimsical collection inspired by Disney’s beloved classic, Alice in Wonderland. Sigma Beauty and Disney teamed up to offer fans an assortment of limited-edition cosmetic products, featuring an eyeshadow palette, cheek duo, lip duo, and brush set, so stunning, you’ll surely lose your head.
Utilizing Disney’s library of creative assets and complying to their copyright requirements, I created the product and packaging for the collection. The products include Alice in Wonderland character imprints on the makeup pans, brushes, beauty bag, and lip containers. The psychedelic metallic packaging was inspired by the iconic scene of Alice falling down the rabbit hole and hints at the look of the Cheshire cat. The entire collection is displayed in a custom press kit, sent to over 300 beauty and lifestyle influencers to promote the product launch. I collaborated with photographers to art direct and assist with styling product for the launch imagery.
In addition to designing the collection, I oversaw the brand collaboration. I worked closely with the Disney team throughout the entire product development process. I ensured all products and factories complied to Disney's standards and regulations. I submitted the necessary documentation for each product and assisted oversea suppliers with Disney’s manufacturing requirements.
