Disney The Little Mermaid Collection
Product & Package Design for a wandering free limited-edition collection
This limited-edition collection must be part of your world, inspired by Disney’s classic, The Little Mermaid. Sigma Beauty and Disney teamed up to offer fans an assortment of limited-edition cosmetic products, featuring an eyeshadow palette, lip set, individual blush and highlighter compacts, and a brush set.
The iridescent metallic packaging designs focus on the iconic underwater setting. Featuring an array of vibrant foils and embossed line patterns. Utilizing Disney’s library of creative assets and complying to their copyright requirements, I created the product and packaging concepts for the collection. The products include The Little Mermaid character imprints on the makeup pans, brushes, and beauty bag. I worked directly with suppliers to source the seashell-shaped compacts, negotiating costs and ensuring containers fit within product requirements.
I worked closely with Sigma leadership and the Disney team during the initial product development process. I presented the product and packaging design concepts to Disney and handed off the remaining portion of the project to the Sigma Beauty team to see the project through to final execution.
