Disney x Sigma Beauty: The Little Mermaid

Bringing The Little Mermaid to life through product and packaging
Sigma Beauty partnered with Disney to create a limited-edition collection inspired by The Little Mermaid. The challenge was to translate a highly recognizable Disney property into a premium beauty collection while creating products and packaging that felt distinctive to Sigma.
I led the initial product and packaging development, creating the concepts and presentation materials across the collection and working closely with Sigma leadership and the Disney team to refine the direction and secure approval.
The collection included an eyeshadow palette, lip set, blush and highlighter compacts, brush set, and beauty bag. I developed the visual language around the film's underwater world, incorporating iridescent finishes, metallic foils, embossed details, and character-inspired elements while working within Disney's creative and licensing requirements.
I also worked directly with suppliers to source custom seashell-shaped components, negotiate costs, and ensure the selected containers met product requirements. I took the project through the initial sampling phase before transitioning the remaining development to the Sigma Beauty team. The designs and foundational work were subsequently carried forward into the final collection.
